The Frankenstudy.

Hey everyone! Happy new year! 🥳
This is my latest piece, inspired by Guilhermo Del Toro's Frankenstein. A beautiful film that gives us the classic DelToro's mix of horror, monsters and poetry.

I tried to portrait the second "birth" of the monster. Moments after the lab explosion, he slides through the sewers into the ocean, and is washed away to the beach. Waking up finally free, standing tall. taking the first breath of fresh air, painful, confusing, but wonderful nonetheless.

Then turning it into an ecorche was just instinct. Since a good part of the purpose of this piece was creating an anatomical study, it seemed fitting. 🤓

I hope you enjoy scrolling through the shots! Some of them are great wallpapers! 😮🤘
